Jimmy Fallon shares the Houston Rodeo with America
Late Night host Jimmy Fallon spoke with the Chronicle's Andrew Dansby on Monday about his first chance to take his time seeing Houston.
While in town to visit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and film a segment that featured him competing in the calf scramble on March 6, Fallon also dropped by Ninfa's on Navigation and sampled barbecue from Goode Co.
Fallon had this to say about his scramble experience:
It sounds so cute, but they release these calves and they're charging like a stampede. You have kids stalking calves, calves jumping over kids. I was fighting for my life with 70,000 people going nuts. And I could see all these cowboys laughing at me. Like, 'That's what you get.' But I grew a little as a man from the whole experience.
